"I must admit I was skeptic to dropping a few bills on this product but has truly paid off. The first few days it took a bit of adjusting to a solar charger but it definitely works great. I am a business consultant always on the go and I often do not have the chance to find a wall outlet to charge my iPhone. I used to hate having to run around worried if my battery would die out in the middle of the day because of the drain the iPhone puts on the battery but I must say I cannot live without this Surge solar charger. What's even better is that it has a micro USB port so I can also charge on the go (I am not a big fan of the regular apple charger). "I'm an engineer and was a bit skeptical when my wife gave me this for Christmas. I have co-workers who have tried the other solar chargers on the market and have been extremely disappointed by their performance. I use my iPod and iPhone all the time and am always needing to charge it. This solar charger performs as promised.
